Mr. Good Will gave $17,375

Secret, Foreign Money Floods Into Obama Campaign By: Kenneth R. Timmerman in Newsmax.com

Unlike the McCain campaign, which has made its complete donor database available online, the Obama campaign has not identified donors for nearly half the amount he has raised, according to the Center for Responsive Politics (CRP).

Mr. Good Will gave $17,375, “Pro, Doodad,” from “Nando, NY,” gave $19,500

The FEC has compiled a separate database of potentially questionable overseas donations that contains more than 11,500 contributions totaling $33.8 million.

Fed's Like a Parent?

Has the Fed's become an overprotective Parent?

Do we really need to cut the purse string, if so when?
Can the Fed's really protect us from ourselves without any pain?
Is Wall street (Elites) really looking for a bailout by Main street (hicks)?
Are the Elite really as smart as they and the Media think they are?

I'm betting the Market is a better solution than a politically motivated Government.

In spite of the Media panic, I'm betting less Government is better for me and is a much better example for the World Markets as well.

What do you think?

Feds' Meddling Masks True Value of Stocks

Forget the big hedge funds or commodity pools. If you're looking for the true market manipulators, look no further than our own government, which 10 days ago staged one of the biggest artificial short-squeezes in history.
What do you think?

Biggest Fool of All?

Is it those that support Obama and it's funding by the Soros Party for a more Elite Liberal (Socialist) Government whose solution is "Change"? It is made up of the following:
A Federal Senator who has spent most of his time running for U.S. President
A State Senator who spent most of his time running for U.S. Senate.
A Party leader who's leading qualification is being a Community Organizer.
A campaign of advisers larger than most governments.
A list of advisers and associations that are Anti America and Anti Israel and
funded by 527 and 501 shadow organizations.

Is it those that support McCain and/or Bush who have had to actually deal with a multitude of situations? The leading factors are made up of the following:
A Senator and a soldier, who has lead by deed's, not just talk.
A Political Maverick who has been on both sides against his party on various issue.
A Man that some consider too old.
A Man that selected a Woman, a Governor, a Mayor, and a Mother with a son in the Army, as his VP Candidate. The only one not indoctrinated from the Washington Culture.

Is it the Media that misinforms, slants, and hides the information from the Voter?
A group of individuals that are Elite and never responsible for anything.
Individuals whose bias is known, but never admitted and mostly denied.
A mechanism that survives on soundbites and inaccurate information.
A group that makes it's living by entertaining, not informing.
Debates are more of an event for the Media, than for the Public.

Is it the Voter that has access to facts about all of the information above and ignores it?
Who may vote on single issue-race, sex, gender, abortion, change, party, etc.
Who ignore character, issues, and history.
Who is willing to sacrifice freedom for spin.
Who trust Government more than themselves and their neighbor.
Who thinks Government is the solution, but can't identify anything Government does right.
Who thinks Government is going to lower his taxes.
Who refuse to hold Government accountable.
Who selectively ignores the Constitution.
Who is PC to the point that they can't even discuss real issues openly.
Who doesn't even know that top 50% of taxpayers pay 97% of all taxes.
Who may believe that 95% are going to get tax break.
Who don't have a clue that this Government is controlled by Special Interests.

Biggest Fool of All is the Voter.

Media Replay This! Media Replay This!

Imagine the Media’s Reaction if a Republican Said Any One of These…
By Denise McNamara

1. “I’ve now been in 57 states, I think, one left to go.” - Barack Obama
2. “Ten thousand people died – an entire town destroyed.” - Barack Obama, following a tornado in Kansas. Actually, only 12 people died.
3. “The President of Canada…” - Barack Obama. Canada has a Prime Minister.
4. “My parents got together because of what happened in Selma.” - Barack Obama, marking the anniversary of the March 1965 “Bloody Sunday” in Selma, Alabama. Obama was born in 1961.
5. “Thank you Sioux City – I said it wrong, I’ve been in Iowa for too long.” - Barack Obama, while campaigning in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
6. “We only have a certain number of them, and if they are all in Iraq, then it’s harder for us to use them in Afghanistan.” - Barack Obama, decrying the lack of translators in Afghanistan. The problem is, Iraqis speak Arabic or Kurdish. The Afghanis speak Pashto, Farsi, or other non-Arabic languages.
7. “Iran doesn’t “pose a serious threat to us.” - Barack Obama, stating that “tiny countries” with small defense budgets cannot do us harm. The next day he stated, “I’ve made it clear for years that the threat from Iran is grave.”
8. "Stand up, Chuck, let 'em see ya." –-Joe Biden, to Missouri state Senator Chuck Graham, who is in a wheelchair, Columbia, Missouri, Sept. 12, 2008.
9. "Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Quite frankly, it might have been a better pick than me." –-Joe Biden, speaking at a town hall meeting in Nashua, New Hampshire.
10. "When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened." –Joe Biden, apparently unaware that FDR wasn't president when the stock market crashed in 1929 and that televisions hadn't been invented yet.
11. "A man I'm proud to call my friend. A man who will be the next President of the United States — Barack America!" --Joe Biden, at his first campaign rally with Barack Obama.

VP Palin Should Debate Candidate Obama

I'm tired of hearing about the Debate about the Debate that dominates the News Media.

Send VP Sarah Palin to debate Unqualified Candidate Hussein Obama.
It's simple to resolve.

Then watch them cry. At least it would be Fair, except to the "News" and their candidate.

Personally, I don't have any doubt she's more qualified. I do have some concern the "Bipartisan Handlers" might make her job more difficult, but McCain's Bipartisanship concerns me already.

Watch how fast The Media Moderator would huddle with Obama to find questions that might challenge Palin without challenging "Their Favored Candidate."

Doubt there would be any Energy related questions, but maybe some Foreign Policy Community Organizer questions.

Wouldn't that be fun and prove who's really "Ready to Lead."

Of course, Obama can use the "importance of the issue" to back out.

By the way, a Senator that is a candidate for President should resign from the Senate. That applies to all Senate Candidates and includes Primaries. Just think how much we have paid in Senate salaries, in this election alone, for them to run around the country and show how ignorant they are--Clinton, McCain, Dodd, Obama, Brownback, and Biden.

All of these Senators with their infinante wisdom belong to an organization with approval around 10%. Also, some of them have the honor of contributing to the collapse of the market by their legislation, and some having received major contributions from the failed organizations.

SEC's Short-Selling Ban Mauls Prudent Hedgers

The title article from SmartMoney documents the unintended consequences of Politically Motivated Government Control. Government then resorts to more Political Government Control to solve all problems. Hence the path to Socialism is advanced at a record pace.

A Single-Party Politically Controlled Government places their power over principal. The good of the country comes in second.

While a government is needed to define and implement policy, the Politically Controlled Government we have today can't seem to properly allocate these demands.

The Administration (One Party) proposes a plan that they believe will help remedy a problem with the knowledge that a Congress (Second Party) must agree. It is not necessarily their optimum program, from a Conservative Viewpoint, but one that might work with a Liberal Viewpoint. Hence it really results in Congressional Control from the beginning.

In the end, The Administration recommends, Congress defines, and The Administration accepts or rejects.

The results of today's Power Center is more Socialism.

Is the only play today a play in Socialism?

You must be in Power and part of The Elite Party.

By definition this leaves out Middle America because you only have two classes--Those in and those out. The In Class will be smaller because they need the Out Class as "slaves" to implement the In Class "Wisdom."

It isn't clear to me whether the Paulson Plan would work under the environment we have in Government today if it were implemented by the current administration. But it is clear to me that we aren't going to have that opportunity.

Congress will change it too much to the left and make it impossible for the market to work and correct another problem Congress created earlier. Hence they must step in again and pick New Winners and Losers from a Political Viewpoint.

Unless Congress is changed in the next election, or at least restrained, the next election will define for you whether you are in the Elite Party, or the Slave Party.

Note, the Party you are in is not determined by your vote, but by the results of the next election. You will either be a Elite Ruler, or Ruled Slave.

Obama Linked to Smear Campaigns & the People that Run Them

The Jawa Report has uncovered information that Main Stream Media can't, or does not want to find.

TOP OF POST UPDATE: Nailed! Ethan Winner confesses he was behind video!

Extensive research was conducted by the Jawa Report to determine the source of smears directed toward Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Those smears included false allegations that she belonged to a secessionist political party and that she has radical anti-American views.

Our research suggests that a subdivision of one of the largest public relations firms in the world most likely started and promulgated rumors about Sarah Palin that were known to be false. These rumors were spread in a surreptitious manner to avoid exposure.

VIOLATION OF FEC RULES?

Federal election law requires that a disclaimer from those paying for campaign ads, "must appear on any "electioneering communication" and on any public communication by any person that expressly advocates the election or defeat of a clearly identified candidate or solicits funds in connection with a federal election."
Do you really believe Obama is who he says he is? I don't.

White House warned 17 times about problems with Fannie and Freddie

Glenn Beck posted the above article on Glennbeck.com:
For many years the President and his Administration have not only warned of the systemic consequences of financial turmoil at a housing government-sponsored enterprise (GSE) but also put forward thoughtful plans to reduce the risk that either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac would encounter such difficulties.
Now who do you believe? Are both parties truly to blame?

More Foxes and a Bigger Hen House

Growing up in the country reminds me of an old saying- "Fox is Guarding the Hen House."

The article, How the Democrats Created the Financial Crisis: Kevin Hassett, a Bloomberg News columnist covers straight forward how the Fox was in charge of the hen house, but today the hen house is bigger and we have many more Foxes. I would offer that we have fewer traps as well.

If the Fox could not be caught earlier when the stakes were as high as they've proven to be, what makes you think that more Foxes, a bigger Hen House, and fewer traps are going to restrain this predator in the least?

What can the hens do? Should they run? Should they surrender for a certain fate? Should they set more traps? Maybe they should get a better trap.

Did the Fox finally set his own trap? There is always hope, but it isn't obvious to at least one rooster.

Justice Department vs. Republicans

Win at any Cost?

The author is an attorney who specializes in election law. The author has requested anonymity to avoid being targeted for prosecution by the Justice Department for exercising First Amendment rights.

Regrettably, what is going on here is no different than what has happened in the Civil Rights Division for decades. This part of Justice is the depository of the most left-wing career lawyers in the entire department, and for years they have run mostly unchecked by political appointees. These lawyers will do anything they can to help get Obama elected - even if it means harassing, investigating and criminally prosecuting Republicans who are engaged in perfectly legal political activity.
This election will go down in history as exposing our Federal and some State Government for what it is--a system that has been hijacked by the Corrupt that use Liberalism as a means to increase and maintain their Personal Political Power while misleading and gaming the Real Working American Citizens.

Although it is dominated by one political party, it has spread beyond party affiliation. Maybe now that corruption at all levels is gradually being exposed, the voter will finally be able to determine which candidates, organizations, businesses, media, and officials aren't Corrupt.

Believe me, it will not be easy, but it is vital to America's Future.

Congress Isn't Accountable, but They Are Responsible

Congress Tries to Fix What is Broke. Investors Business Daily describes what occurred in the Congressional Subprime Mess:
Regulation: As the financial crisis spreads, denials on Capitol Hill grow more shrill. Blame an aloof President Bush, greedy Wall Street, risky capitalism — anybody but those in Congress who wrote the banking rules.
If you are really interested in change, then Congressional Leadership must be changed. Pelosi, Reid, and many Liberal Congressional Members must be removed before you can expect improvement in the U.S. Government. Granted McCain and Obama can affect the rate of change to Socialism, but neither can stop it with the current House and Senate Members. The best you can hope for is that Palin can talk some sense into McCain.

Not all members are bad, but the good ones are usually portrayed as bad by the Liberal Media. Some of the good names to remember are Tom DeLay, Newt Gingrich, Jeff Sessions, John Cornyn, Tom Coburn, George Allen, Pete Sessions, Duncan Hunter, Tom Tancredo, and James Inhofe.

Of course good change isn't going to occur anytime soon with the Socialist Media providing cover and miss-information to the typical naive working voter.

It is up to you to determine the facts in spite of the Liberal Media. The facts are out there, but not in the standard sources.

No Oil for Blood

Thanks to three American senators, China will be pumping Iraqi oil.
by Frederick W. Kagan
Why, after all the assistance we've given to Iraq over the past five years, was the first major Iraqi oil deal signed with China and not with an American or even a western company? The answer is, in part, because three Democratic senators intervened in Iraqi domestic politics earlier this year to prevent Iraq from signing short-term agreements with Exxon Mobil, Shell, Total, Chevron, and BP.
You won't trust this, but at least you will know who, and ultimately the responsible parties must be held accountable:
Senators Chuck Schumer, John Kerry, and Claire McCaskill wrote a letter to Secretary of State Rice asking her "to persuade the GOI [Government of Iraq] to refrain from signing contracts with multinational oil companies until a hydrocarbon law is in effect in Iraq." The Bush administration wisely refused to do so, but the resulting media hooraw in Iraq led to the cancellation of the contracts, and helps to explain why Iraq is doing oil deals instead with China.
See if you can find this info in the Liberal Media.

Which Side is Obama On?

Do You Know Enough to Elect Barrack Obama?

Victory for Obama is More Important Than U.S. Victory

It's one thing to have a defeatist position, but quite another to preempt a winning position. Based on the following article, that is what Barack Obama attempted to do while in Iraq.

Obama Tried to Stall GIS' Iraq Withdrawal by Amir Taheri in the NY Post:
According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.
Obama's self interest over U.S. Interest is not for me. Obama's career supports this selfish pattern, and it is not good for the United States of America.

Poll Question--Would you rather the U.S. Win, or Obama Win?

Hockey Moms 3+, Media Pit Bulls 0

Media is struggling from at least 3 behind.
1 Convention Speech
2 ABC Interview
3 Media can't seem to find Palin now that she's on the trail by herself. Thought that's what they wanted.

The Media Tactic now is to not cover her--unless she makes a gaff, of course.
Did find her today on CSpan2. She looked and sounded even better than before.

Way to go Liberal Media. We are on to you now. Maybe in November you can hit the showers and come clean as journalist.

That may be too much to expect from Big Media.

I Feel Your Pain

Political Cartoons of Michael Ramirez
Editorial Cartoonist for Investor's Business Daily

2008, Monumental Election for America's Future

All elections are important, but this election is Monumental. Why?

1. As in the past, there are primarily two parties in contention. The difference this time is one Party used a conventional process to select their candidate by a majority vote of each state aided by the exposed Media bias. Representative Technique.

The other side selected it's candidate using an Elite Crafted Policy of Super Delegates to select their candidate, also aided by the exposed Media bias. Socialist Technique.
This technique had voter participation, but not in the selection process. The candidate was anointed by the Elite Super Delegates. He(she) was not selected by the voter. Their procedures were crafted by the Elite to stop the convention vote and control the selection.

It is clear, the voters are not sophisticated and educated enough to pick the "right" candidate(s).

2. Voters have been exposed to the tremendous bias and influence of All Media. The Liberal Media, primarily television, was caught off guard with the selection of Gov. Palin. Their Class Warfare attacks, without new talking points in the unconventional situation forced them to challenge gender much the way they protected race, and vice verse, but for the wrong side. They were forced to switch sides from their previous positions. They were not prepared for the massive change the Republicans offered because one of the Media selected candidates was not chosen. To the Liberal Media, talk radio had switched sides by supporting a woman, which was never the issue to talk radio.

Conservative Media, primarily talk radio, was exposed also. Finally they had someone in the election process who's principal's they could support. It wasn't gender, race, wealthy, poor, or other Class Based issue. It finally was someone of conservative principal who supports defense, energy, freedom, economy, integrity, and other American Ideals. Someone who lives them, not just reads the talking points. So now the public, and Liberal Media, is learning that Talk Radio is about American principals, ideas, and American Values, not class warfare.

Liberal-Media Education continues--Palin on ABC, McCain on View. Obama with Bill. Both candidates are on, but not at the same time, a 911 Volunteer Program. All events are Liberal Media controlled events, as too are the debates. Saddleback Event is the only event not controlled by the Liberal Media. I'd like to see an event hosted by Talk Radio. With some luck, someday we will.

The key point to this Monumental Election for America's Future is the American Voter is exposed to the blatant Socialist leaning of the Parties, the Media, and the Candidates as never before.

Lipstick on a Pig

Enough Said

Obama Plagiarist Too?

Obama plagiarized 'lipstick speech'?

But less attention has been paid to Obama's statements just preceding the lipstick reference, which appear to be an un-attributed copy of the caption in a Washington Post political cartoon by Tom Toles Sept. 5.

Obama stated yesterday:

"'Watch out, George Bush, except for economic policy, health care policy, tax policy, education policy, foreign policy and Karl Rove-style politics – we're really going to shake things up in Washington!' That's not change ... you know, you can put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig."

Fannie and Freddie-like 'Social Investment Fund'

Partnership with Civic Institutions exposes "The 'Hidden Soros Slush Fund'".

Malkin notes, correctly, that:

In practice, this Barack Obama brainchild would serve as a permanent, taxpayer-backed pipeline to Democrat partisan outfits masquerading as public-interest do-gooders. This George Soros Slush Fund would be political payback in spades. Obama owes much of his Chicago political success to financial support from radical, left-wing billionaire and leading “social entrepreneur” Soros.

You might note that although Obama proposed this Fannie-Freddie like social investment plan, McCain has not criticized the plan because he too had received money from Soros.

Finally Liberals may be exposed, and with any luck, held accountable.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Invest in Democrats

Enron is a Saint Compared to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Who Cares?
Not the Media.

OpenSecrets has analyzed some of the funding:

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have also strategically given more contributions to lawmakers currently sitting on committees that primarily regulate their industry. Fifteen of the 25 lawmakers who have received the most from the two companies combined since the 1990 election sit on either the House Financial Services Committee; the Senate Banking, Housing & Urban Affairs Committee; or the Senate Finance Committee. The others have seats on the powerful Appropriations or Ways & Means committees, are members of the congressional leadership or have run for president. Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.), chairman of the Senate banking committee, has received the most from Fannie and Freddie's PACs and employees ($133,900 since 1989). Rep. Paul Kanjorski (D-Pa.) has received $65,500. Kanjorski chairs the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance and Government-Sponsored Enterprises, and Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae are government-sponsored enterprises, or GSEs.

Who's responsible for the Fannie and Freddie Failure? Congress

Who's holding them accountable? Mark Levin You should listen to his Sept 9, 2008 Podcast. It's free. It reveals names of some of those that are taking taxpayer money. Enron was a drop in the bucket compared to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

On Tuesday’s Mark Levin Show: Mark calls for a full fledged investigation on the Fannie Mac situation. Why don’t you hear about this from Congress - they used to be so concerned about Enron and Halliburton. Yet, this is a huge scandal and you aren’t hearing anything about it! This is crony capitalism at its finest!
Where are the hearings and investigation? Don't hold your breath.

Fears grow of terrorist with ‘an American face’

The Media covers topic's like the Title Link from MSNBC about fears grow of terrorist with 'an American face'.

It occurred to me that a greater terrorist fear I can imagine are the 'American faces' of Liberal Obama as President, Pelosi as Speaker of the House with a Liberal majority, and Harry Reid as Leader of the Senate with 60 Liberal votes. (Notice I didn't say Democrat).

While conventional terrorist can inflict unthinkable damage on America, they could only dream of inflicting the damage to America's Way of Life that the 'American faces' mentioned above could impose without using a single weapon of mass destruction (WMD). Terrorist don't always use WMD, remember Iraq?

Which 'American faces' do you fear more?

The Evolving Agenda of George Soros's Democracy Alliance

This article by Matthew Vadum is very descriptive of how George Soros operates.

Some of his bread-and-butter liberal groups have included:

Media Matters for America
Center for American Progress
People for the American Way
New Democratic Network
Progressive Majority
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW)
Center for Progressive Leadership
Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN)
EMILY’s List
America Votes
Sierra Club
Center on Budget and Policy Priorities

See if you can identify the next list.

Really Important Events of the Past Weeks

What do the events of the past weeks show?
Politicians, Washington Government, and the Liberal Media place too much value on their worth and wisdom, and are never accountable. They always have the President and Administration to blame.

1. House Recess
With the House Leadership we have today, it is good for the country that this House is out of session. They have demonstrated they are working against the good of America by preventing the expansion of our energy resources. They won't stop earmarks and they don't have a budget. They are trying to harm the economy so they can blame the Administration and get unchecked power in the next election.

2. House and Senate Controlled Convention--Democrat
We are led to believe that a gang of Senators that run for President are the only ones qualified and have enough experience to govern or lead this country. Think how many Senators are vane enough to think they are the individuals to lead the Great USA--McCain, Obama, Clinton, Biden, Dodd, Hagle, Brownback, Gore, Kennedy, and others.

This is from a gang that has an approval rating 1/2 as good as the President's rating that they portray as being so low.

From their accomplishments over the past months and years and years, I'd say that all of them should be leading a ticket out of government.

You can't ignore that contributing to their weakness, is the Leader of the Gang--the Corrupt, the Incompetent, and the one and only, "the War Is Lost," Harry Reid.

How competent is the Senate Gang to lead America? About 55 of them are wrong on Defense and National Security, wrong on Budget, wrong on Funding, wrong on Immigration, wrong on English as official language, wrong on Energy Policy, wrong on Earmarks, wrong on Physical Policy, wrong on Carbon Effects, wrong on Bio Fuel, wrong on Entitlements, and wrong on Global Warming, etc.

3. Administration Controlled Convention--Republican
The key inspiration, competence, and leadership of the week is shown from an individual not from Washington, but from America. Sarah Palin is Pro America, Pro Winning, Pro Energy, and Pro Life. (Definitely does not fit the Washington mold) She's accustomed to getting things done and accountable for them. The key difference is accountable for policy.

Only the Washington elite, currently those in control, can't see the forest for the trees. That tells us what is wrong with our government. Their singular personal importance and self worth is greater than the good of America. This includes the Main Stream Media.

McCain has demonstrated some genuine leadership and vision. Is he the Real America McCain, or is he the Washington America McCain?

4. The Main Stream Media Frenzy

They exposed just how important and wise they see themselves. They can't stand it that someone outside their circle of Washington wisdom could be selected VP. How can someone from America, not Washington, be qualified to be VP? The fact that almost anyone is more qualified and would be better for America than Obama, or the other Washington Elites, isn't important. The important thing to them is they define the anointed.

Notice, they are not accountable either.

5. Fanny and Freddie

These Companies problems are fundamental and effect all of us. The difference is the Washington elite that created the problems are not held accountable, and may no longer benefit from them, unless they nationalize these "companies" permanently.

They are perfect examples of what happens when government, and their political interests, try to manage market driven companies. Government management, and it's elite incompetents, can not separate their political interest from the business of the real market of ideas, and worth, to the real consumer.

Two non-government government entities established by government to implement policies directed by Congress. They are managed for profit, by former government officials, to make money to pay government officials to define their policies, by lobbing Congress to define policy that protect them from the realism of the market and competition. A scenario destined to failure.

The good news is that the Public knows it does not work, but they may not know why it occurred.
The bad news is that now the House and Senate are controlled by Socialists and this is what they want--Government controlled market failure so the Federal Government can grow.

Issues at Stake Link

Other similar areas to watch are Energy Policy (Drilling Legislation, Fuel Mandates, Carbon Credits, and Global Warming), Health Care, Airlines and Auto, and other business that they can cause to fail so they can gain control. This Congress tried to fail even on Defense.

See if This Congress is ever held Accountable by This Media? No Way!

Obama Serivce Program

Authenticity Trumps Audacity

Authenticity Trumps Audacity

By Denise McNamara

Senator John McCain¢s brilliant choice of Governor Sarah Palin continues to reverberate throughout the political world. It¢s almost comical to watch the liberal media trying to deal with the phenomenon of Governor Palin. The liberals¢ anointed candidate, Barack Obama, appears confused. Senator Joe Biden, who was beaming during the Democrats¢ convention, looks depressed. And Senator John McCain, realizing that he has scored a home run, is positively ecstatic.

Governor Palin¢s candidacy confirms the truth that conservatives have always maintained: When we try to become more moderate to appeal to swing voters, we lose; when we embrace our values and principles, we win. This is the lesson that President Ronald Reagan taught us, and it is happening again before our eyes. Sarah Palin is not a politician; neither was Reagan. Governor Palin is not concerned about poll numbers; neither was Reagan. Palin is a common-sense conservative; so was Reagan. Americans are once again engaged because we have a real American on the ticket, not a politician. And to Senator McCain¢s credit, he is not a typical politician either, and he has found the perfect running mate.

In learning more about Governor Sarah Palin and her family, most Americans can relate to her values, her experiences, her problems, and her willingness to take on politics as usual. She is not afraid, and she is willing to fight. What a breath of fresh air for Republicans! She is the candidate that we have been waiting for as conservatives, and she is just the sort of candidate that Americans have been craving. Everyone is amazed, and the comparisons to Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher abound. Even Reagan¢s son, Michael, sees the similarities. This election just took on another dimension, and no one saw it coming. Thank you again, Senator McCain. You have restored our enthusiasm, and we can now see the future of the Republican Party in a hockey mom, turned PTA mom, turned small-town Mayor, turned reforming Governor, and now possible Vice President of the United States. My prediction is that Americans will definitely choose an authentic candidate over an audacious one. That bodes very well for the McCain/Palin ticket.

Regarding Sarah Palin ( from a Friend in Alaska)

This post was forwarded to me from a special voter:

I think this post should be considered at the same time the Liberal Media is presenting any negatives they can find.
Sarah Palin is the US's answer to Margaret Thatcher!

Anyone who thinks she cannot handle the job or deal briskly and efficiently with ANY issue, including foreign governments . well, they haven't met our Sarah.

As an Alaskan resident as well as a resident of Wasilla,
AK, where Sarah Palin was at one time Mayor . I can speak
with confidence. Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska is exactly
what she portrayed during her introduction this morning and
exactly what our US Government needs. She is ethical to a
fault (if there is such a thing), a refreshing change to the
status-quo and as smart and determined a PERSON (gender
really isn't an issue here as far as I'm concerned)
as anyone could ask for at the head of government.

Sarah is no naïve "small town mayor" - she just
*started out* there. Btw, as Mayor of Wasilla, she brought
this "small town" through a lot of GOOD changes
and left it at the end of her term having grown to the 4th
largest CITY in Alaska - a lot of growth and a stronger
economic base than ever before.

She has EXECTUTIVE experience *running a government*
(something NONE of the other candidates can actually boast,
even John McCain ) as Governor of Alaska and got
there by defeating the *incumbent* Republican Governor, who
was definitely part of the "old school" and who
WAS very much in the pocket of the big oil companies. We in
Alaska wanted change - and we got it in the person of Sarah
Palin!

Sarah Palin is everything she looks to be and more. Her
approval rating as Governor of Alaska has been as high as
95% and is currently leveled out consistently in the upper
80 percentile throughout the state (and in both parties) -
the HIGHEST approval rating of ANY sitting Governor.

Sarah has been turning around corruption in the
Legislature of Alaska - turning things on their ear for that
matter; cutting spending in spite of the increased income
the state is currently receiving due to the high oil prices
- she has insisted on putting a huge amount of the
"windfall" into savings for the future rather than
spending, spending, spending - and has insisted from the
get-go on what she refers to as "honest, ethical and
transparent governing" - no more closed door meetings
and dealings - the big oil companies thought she would be a
pushover and have learned better to their chagrin.

She understands the "real people" and the
economic issues we all face (Alaskans along with the rest
of the country) - she was one of "us" not long
ago. Rather than passing useless "laws" or
throwing money at pet projects, she (most recently)
temporarily suspended the state gas tax (on gasoline at the
pumps, fuel oil and natural gas for homes, etc.) and has
ordered checks issued to ALL residents of Alaska this fall
in an attempt to assist with the burden of high fuel costs
for the upcoming winter. I could go on and on, but
that's enough for now . She isn't doing
these things to be popular - she is doing it because her
constituents are HURTING financially and she can help.

She became Governor of Alaska by defeating the Incumbent
Republican Governor and doing it *without* the money or the
support of the Republican Party, which was amazing in itself
- and she won by a landslide. The "powers that
be" at that time totally underestimated Sarah and
learned better the hard way. She has done exactly what she
claimed she was going to do and is just as popular today as
the day she was elected - perhaps more so since even the
Democrats up here seem to like her - she works well with
both sides in the Legislature here.

Sarah "belongs" to us (Alaskans) ... and although
we are going to be terribly sorry to see her leave before
she finishes the job she started here (two years ago)
straightening out OUR State ... we understand
she is needed for a bigger purpose and hopefully her Lt.
Governor will be able to fill her shoes here and continue
the job.

As for worrying about what would happen if McCain were to
die or step down or whatever ... Theta, up here in AK
we've only been wondering how long we would be able to
KEEP Sarah in Alaska and have seen her as our first woman
President of the USA from the start. It's always been a
matter of whether she would wait until the end of her TWO
terms as Governor (no doubt at ALL that she would be
re-elected if she ran for a second term at the end of her
current term) ... or end up in Washington sooner. She could
do the job TODAY.

Personally, I feel a lot better about McCain now that I
know he has someone as savvy, as strong, as ethical and as
steady as Sarah at his back. She will be an excellent Vice
President ... and my guess is will be our US Republican
Presidential candidate in four years - AND by then the
country will KNOW her - will love and respect her as we do
here - and she'll win by as much of a landslide as she
did here in Alaska. I only wonder if McCain has a clue what
he is unleashing on the US of A . She is going
to be a fresh wind, but also a strong wind.

Is that enough of an endorsement? If not, I'll add
this ... Jerry and I have for many years felt the best
"vote" was to vote for the lesser of two
"evils" and hope they didn't do too much
damage. Two years ago during our State Governor's race
was the first time EVER that we actually asked for not just
a little sign to put in our yard showing our support of our
candidate (something we've never felt the desire to do
at all before) - we asked for a full 4' x 8'
"SARAH PALIN FOR GOVERNOR!" sign and were proud
to have it. She hasn't let us or Alaska down. She will
do the same for the USA if given the opportunity.

Sarah Palin Interviews

Sarah Palin has had several interviews. Some were posted on this blog earlier.

But for those of you that would like to see some of them, click on the Title link to find topics of interest to you.

Difference between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama

“What's the difference between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama?”

“One is a well turned-out, good-looking, and let's be honest, pretty sexy piece of eye-candy.

“The other kills her own food.”

Gerard Baker's article "Sarah Palin: it's go west, towards the future of conservatism" is something to think about.

Accuracy in Media? Consider the Source!!!

Recently acquired talking points from Moveon.org by Nita Chaudhary regarding Gov. Sarah Palin.

The interesting thing about the supporting links was that they referenced sister organization for verification:

MoveOn.org
MoveOn is a Web-based, grassroots political network that organizes "electronic advocacy groups" of online activists around specific issues; raises money for Democrat candidates through rock concerts and other entertainment events; generates political ads; and wins young recruits through its appeal to the Net-savvy, MTV subculture.
Thinkprogress.com
Think Progress is a "project" of the American Progress Action Fund (APAF), a "sister advocacy organization" of the John Podesta-led Center for American Progress (CAP) and CAP's entities such as Campus Progress. It also draws freely on the resources of the George Soros-funded Media Matters website edited by David Brock.
Nita Chaudhary
Bio: Nita Chaudhary, Campaign Director at MoveOn.org Political Action: Nita leads MoveOn’s campaigns on the Iraq War, Constitutional Liberties as well as running the fundraising program for MoveOn’s 2008 electoral effort. In the past she was the Director of Online organizing for the DNC. She’s also held several positions at People for the American Way, including Media Research Analyst, Web Editor, and Online Organizer.
Just another example of media control of questionable information presented to the Voter as objective and sourced. Watch for their talking points on TV and in print. Consider the Source!!! Three other key alerts to watch for are George Bush, Chaney, and Karl Rove. (These organizations destroy people to promote their Kook Ideas.)

The good news is that Sarah Palin's selection caught them off guard, and now they have exposed themselves for who they really are.

Thank you Sarah Palin and John McCain.

For the record, I tend to agree with Sarah Palin over John McCain on the issues where they differ.

Informed Voters can take back America by holding the Liberal Media accountable for the information they present as fact that they obtain from "The Left Wing Kooks."

Part of Kook Email:
Here are a bunch of points you might want to include in your letter:

Palin recently said that the war in Iraq is "God's task." She's even admitted she hasn't thought about the war much—just last year she was quoted saying, "I've been so focused on state government, I haven't really focused much on the war in Iraq." 1, 2
Palin has actively sought the support of the fringe Alaska Independence Party. Six months ago, Palin told members of the group—who advocate for a vote on secession from the union—to "keep up the good work" and "wished the party luck on what she called its 'inspiring convention.'" 3
Palin wants to teach creationism in public schools. She hasn't made clear whether she thinks evolution is a fact.4
Palin doesn't believe that humans contribute to global warming. Speaking about climate change, she said, "I'm not one though who would attribute it to being manmade." 5
Palin has close ties to Big Oil. Her inauguration was even sponsored by BP. 6
Palin is extremely anti-choice. She doesn't even support abortion in the case of rape or incest. 7
Palin opposes comprehensive sex-ed in public schools. She's said she will only support abstinence-only approaches. 8
As mayor, Palin tried to ban books from the library. Palin asked the library how she might go about banning books because some had inappropriate language in them—shocking the librarian, Mary Ellen Baker. According to Time, "news reports from the time show that Palin had threatened to fire Baker for not giving "full support" to the mayor." 9
She DID support the Bridge to Nowhere (before she opposed it). Palin claimed that she said "thanks, but no thanks" to the infamous Bridge to Nowhere. But in 2006, Palin supported the project repeatedly, saying that Alaska should take advantage of earmarks "while our congressional delegation is in a strong position to assist." 10
The plain fact of the matter is that Sarah Palin did a bang-up job delivering a Karl Rove-style political attack speech last night. That makes her a skilled politician but it doesn't make her views any more palatable for voters. Americans don't really want another far-right, anti-science ideologue in the White House.

Please help get the word out about where Sarah Palin really stands on the issues.

Quote of the Day

One blogger described her as "Margaret Thatcher with five kids and a Klondike drawl" while Jonah Goldberg of the conservative "National Review" enthused: "She was put on this earth to do two things: kill caribou and kick butt. She's all out of caribou."

Obama's Answer on Experience

Obama's answer on experience: But I'm such a great campaigner! by Ed Morrissey.

AC: Some Republican critics say, you don’t have the experience to handle a situation like this [Hurricane Gustav]. They’ve in fact said that Governor Palin has more executive experience as mayor of a small town and as governor of a big state like Alaska. What’s your response?

BO: Well, you know, my understanding is that, uh, Governor Palin’s town of Wasilly [sic] has, uh, 50 employees, uh, uh, we’ve got 2500, uh, in this campaign. I think their budget is maybe $12 million a year. Uh, uh, we have a budget of about three times that just for the month. Uh, so I think that, uh, our ability to manage large systems, uh, and to, uh, execute, uh, I think has been made clear over the last couple of years. Uh, and certainly, in terms of, uh, the legislation that I’ve passed just dealing with this issue post-Katrina, uh, of how we handle emergency management. The fact that, uh, many of my recommendations were adopted and are being put in place, uh, as we speak indicates to extent to which we can provide the kinds of support and good service that the American people expect.

Palin Nomination Already Successful

One key thing the Palin nomination has done for the Voter is expose the control and bias The Liberal Media has on our election process.

I don't know about you, but it has been painfully apparent to me, as never before, the extent and influence The Liberal Media has used to destroy Sarah Palin and try to select their candidate for this VP position. It is more obvious than ever who is behind the success of Obama. Even the Clinton machine couldn't overcome The Liberal Media to expose Obama's lack of qualifications.

With the The Liberal Media challenging Palin's qualifications so vigorously, it has exposed how little the media covered Obama's qualifications, and that The Liberal Media didn't want to expose it then, and still don't. What else are they controlling and keeping from the Voter?

The Media has selected both top nominees from the Republican and Democrat Party's. We will see if they can select the remainder of the ticket and continue to control their policies.

Now, it is easier than ever before for the observant Voter to see and judge the extent The Liberal Media controls your views and positions on different issues.

The Educated Voter can now determine which media to trust, if any. Keep in mind that many, many working voters don't have the opportunity and time to observe this Media in enough detail to become Educated. This too is a challenge for The Educated Vote.

The next question is, To What Extent are the Political Parties Involved in this Subversive Effort, and who else?

Experience and Qualifications The Voter Can Believe In!

Now that Main Stream Media is finally interested in Experience and Qualifications isn't it time to finally resolve the matter on C-Span or Fox News by having a real debate between the President Elect and the VP Selection of the opposite party.

Can you imagine McCain debating Biden, and Obama debating Palin, with the debate about Experience and Qualifications?

Each candidate could answer what America means to them.
Each candidate could answer what accomplishments they bring to the Office.
Each candidate could address their associations that have given them experience that have formed their views for America.
Each candidate would have to stand on their own, not depend on handlers and The Media, as is the case now.

How do you think the candidates would fare?
Who really is qualified to be President of the United States?
Do facts really matter to the voter?
